Regional strategies and activitiesRegione Abruzzo activities aim at fostering the development of a new generation fuel station regional network and to develop researches on the use of hydrogen in transport sector. At national level Regione Abruzzo is working together with other Italian Region to raise the use of hydrogen technology. This commitment is confirmed by Regional Measure DGR 1435 of 18th December 2006 and the setting of the Protocol of agreement on Hydrogen, whose leader is Regione Abruzzo and that should be carried out with Italian Ministers, Regions and public/private stakeholders. An action estabilished by the Regional Plan on the Protection of Air Quality will promote the use of dedicated vehicles fuelled by hydrogen within the year 2009. The “Plan of the use of hydrogen technology within a sustainable mobility policy in metropolitan area of Pescara-Chieti” that aims at the relevant air pollutant reduction within the year 2009. Regione Abruzzo join the H2IT (the Italian hydrogen and fuel cell association) as member of the Board. Download the full infosheet
