North-Rhine Westphalia government to subsidise fuel cell m-CHP

The German State of North-Rhine Westphalia has launched a subsidy scheme for commercial customers and energy service companies who install highly efficient micro-Combined Heat and Power (CHP) products of less than 50 kilowatts, including fuel cell micro-CHP systems.

The subsidy programme is to begin immediately and will run until the end of 2017 as part of a larger 250 million euro funding programme to support CHP deployment in North-Rhine Westphalia.
