The 11th Annual meeting of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network Energy Agency – NRW presented that the region is well on its way to leading research and business area of Energy and Climate Change.

SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP:
Based on the 2007 degradation workshop results, this workshop is aimed at:
*Quantifying the effects of degradation mechanisms on fuel cell performance
and priorising the mechanisms according to their relevance in everyday
operation.
*Identifying experimental methods, procedures, testing equipment, modeling,
and data analysis approaches to accelerate individual degradation
mechanisms.
*Discussing accelerated testing protocols.
*Assessing the role of operating conditions on accelerating degradation
phenomena Supplying support to industry in product qualification testing protocols.
*Supporting Standard developing organizations and certification bodies.
The 11th Annual meeting of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network Energy Agency – NRW presented that the region is well on its way to leading research and business area of Energy and Climate Change.
The Annual Meeting of the Hydrogen Network North Rhine Westfalia will take place December 7, 2011. Presentations will examine, the region of North Rhine-Westphalia activities in the expansion of renewable energies and the associated consequences for networks and how storage of energy increasingly plays a major role. The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network NRW utilizes excessive wind energy to save in the form of hydrogen with the aim to Buffer the fluctuations in energy supply, the production, and consumption of electrical energy. The hydrogen can then be used as a clean fuel the transport sector. Fuel cell buses within projects funded by NRW, are currently in progress and successfully running in Hurth. During the annual meeting participants will have the opportunity to test ride the hydrogen bus. During the meeting, presentations will also examine the NRW incentive programs for cogeneration, the basic features, and the current projects in the field of CHP, electricmobility, and energy storage using hydrogen and fuel cells. Renewable energies in Germany now offer more than 340,000 jobs for the future with a strong upward trend. On the Job Fair to be held under the patronage of Minister of the Environment Remmel, young people can learn about the various training and study opportunities. EnergyAgency.NRW representatives can be with their project EnergieJobs.NRW. The event will take place Friday 20 May 2011, 10:00-17:30 clock, Saturday, 21 May 2011, 10:00-16:00 For more information see: NRW
