6th Annual Zero Emission Conference

The sixth annual Zero Emission Conference is to be held November 21-22, 2011 in Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. The ZeroEmission Conference is the largest of its kind in Scandinavia. The two day programme spans across a wide range of topics and perspectives, from the visions to the specific solutions. Is Green Growth Possible? What does a green economy look like? The strain on the climate and our limited resources grows with the global population and economic development. Is our economic system capable of meeting the challenge? Is economic growth an obstacle or a prerequisite for finding the solutions? And will stronger climate policies destroy businesses or be a source of new business opportunities? HyER presents “Next Move” at Nordic Political Meeting

HyER president Andreas Ziolek at the Nordic Political Seminar in Oslo this June 21, 2011, stressed the need to take the next step towards large scale deployment of clean energy carriers in regional and local transport and energy systems. HyER co-organized the seminar in collaboration with the Scandinavian hydrogen organizations, Hydrogen Sweden and the Norwegian Hydrogen Forum to discuss the necessary Next Move to effectively integrate clean energy carriers in transport and energy systems were discussed with regional politicians and senior civil servants in the fields of growth and innovations, infrastructure and mobility, environment and energy. The Event was hosted by the region of Akershus, Norway.

On the same day the Scandinavian Next Move project was launched in Oslo. An Interreg funded project, Next move is bringing together regions and municipalities in the Öresund – Kattegat – Skagerrak area who have expressed a political will to enforce the use of emission-free vehicles. The Next Move project facilitates cooperation across borders to meet strategic challenges like purchasing and service, for the regions and municipalities that want to become early users of these vehicles.

Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2010

The Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day is a full day conference and meeting place for investors and innovators/entrepreneurs within the Cleantech sector. The event, held on the 30th of September, will gather 25 interesting, carefully selected Cleantech companies which will present their investment cases to leading international investors and decision-makers.
