HyER regions support Electric Transport event at EU Sustainable Energy Week 22-26 March 2010

The EU Sustainable Energy Week, EUSEW, is the reference event for sustainable issues in Europe. It forms part of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign which is an initiative of the European Commission launched in 2005. The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign contributes to achieving the European Union’s energy policy targets within the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels. The EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) on behalf of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and Transport . In 2009 the EUSEW combined 149 events in Brussels and outside with over 30,000 participants. The European Hydrogen Association, EHA  in collaboration with HyER has organised a session at each edition of the EUSEW to highlight sustainable hydrogen infrastructure developments. This year a session is planned on March 23, 2010 in the afternoon at the Palais des Academies on the requirements for an European sustainable electric transprot infrastructure, including both battery car and fuel cell vehicles requirements.
