Dr. Hugo Vanden Borre Award
Prof. Roger Sierens may call himself the first prize winner of the Dr. Hugo Vanden Borre award. This award was created by the Flemish Interest Group for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (VSWB). Prof. Roger Sierens is one of the fixed values within the Flemish hydrogen world. At Ghent University, he built a great expertise in the use of hydrogen in internal combustion engines. In Several projects in the Flemish and European automotive industry his knowledge is translated into concrete projects.
