UKH2Mobility, a consortium of 11 car manufacturers operating in the United Kingdom, has released a new, government-industry study concerning the future of hydrogen fuel in transportation. The study shows that hydrogen fuel is to make major progress in the UK and could soon revolutionise transportation throughout the country. According to the study, more than 1.5 million hydrogen-powered vehicles will be on UK’s roads by the end of 2030. The consortium highlights that the transition from conventional vehicles has already begun with consumers showing more interest in battery-electrics. In the coming years, hydrogen-powered vehicles are to make a strong presence in the UK market.
