Regional strategies and activities
The Initiative forms a network with competence in hydrogen and fuel cell technology. Its major goal is to support activities to achieve greater economic viability, a sure footing in the market and more widespread application. This is done by research promotion, competence networking, knowledge management, mutual exchanges of information and technology transfer. For our work are the identification, initiation of new project and the drafting of integrative development and pilot projects important features. Furthermore the Initiative has its priorities in promoting research and development projects in companies and institutes and realising the know how in new products. By aiming these goals the Initiative provides a lot of services to their members, such as project design and initiation, matching partners, helping companies to exploit research findings, negotiating partnerships and consulting the companies. In Hessia main aspects of the technology are the materials and componends industry, also systems for portable and stationary applications of the fuel cell technology. Beside this there are greater sources of quasi-green hydrogen for the different applications, hydrogen as an by-product of huge chemical plants. Download the full infosheet
